Ex-head of Renault in Russia Pankov appointed CEO of Aurus

Andrey Pankov, the former head of Renault in Russia, has been appointed to the position of the new CEO of Aurus, the press service of the automaker said.

“From December 28, 2022, Andrey Pankov takes over the leadership of AURUS,” the message says.

Pankov will replace Nikolai Khodosevich, who was appointed Acting CEO of Aurus in January 2022.

In 2005-2014 Pankov has held senior positions at Hyundai Russia and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation Russia. From 2015 to 2019 he was the general director of Renault in Russia. Before starting his career in the automotive industry, Pankov worked at Sberbank, Procter & Gamble and Nestle. In 2020, Pankov headed the advertising group of companies ADV.

In addition, for several years Pankov worked as a member of the Strategic Council for Investments in New Industries under the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, the Industrial Development Council of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as other business public organizations in Russia.
