F1: Alonso “I come back to have fun and win” – Sport

(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 23 – “I return to F1 to have fun and entertain people with great results. I want to win, but to say that I come back, I win races and I win the title is a dream. Let’s see and cross our fingers”. Thus Fernando Alonso, former F1 world champion, former Ferrari driver, ready to return after three years in the circus aboard an Alpine (former Renault). Speaking to Skysport, the Spaniard had his say on the eve of the first GP of the season in Bahrain: “I am both physically and mentally well. Mentally ready. Having had all of last year as preparation, knowing what to expect, I did a gradual return to the team. I am also physically well, I have been preparing for many months and let’s see how the season will begin. ” (HANDLE).
