The famous company has bagged the foreign release license for the superstar’s film ‘Baba’.
In 2002, Rajinikanth starred in the film Baba, which he wrote and produced the story and screenplay. This film was directed by Suresh Krishna for the fourth time after Annamalai, Veera and Badsha.
Manisha Koirala opposite Rajini, Riyaz Khan, Goundamani, Dilli Ganesh, Sujatham Nambiar, Karunas and others played important roles. AR Raghuman composed the music.
After 20 years of Baba’s release, the film has been re-edited, color-graded according to modern technology and upgraded to a new look.

While the new trailer of Baba is out again and getting the support of the fans, it will be released on 10th December on the occasion of Rajini’s birthday.
Tickets for the 4 am show sold out within minutes of ticket bookings starting in some theatres.
Meanwhile, Lyca has acquired the overseas release license of Baba.
