All the executives led by K. Rajan have won the elections held today for the Chennai, Kanchipuram and Tiruvallur District Film Distributors Association. Nine out of 16 executive committee members are from K. Rajan’s team. Out of 469 eligible voters
359 people voted in the election.
K. Rajan has been elected President of the Film Distributors Association. He received a total of 230 votes. Thiruvenkadam, who contested against him, got 124 votes. Kalaiyappan is in the lead with 186 votes. Nandagopal has been elected as the Deputy Chief Minister with 196 votes. As treasurer, P. Murali won by a margin of one vote. Sai Baba as Sai as Co-Secretary and as members of the Executive Committee
