The Federal Service for the Execution of Punishment (FSIN) of Russia went to court with a demand to replace the former lawyer of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK, a liquidated foreign agent, recognized as an extremist organization in the Russian Federation and banned) Lyubov Sobol’s conditional correctional labor for real. This is the punishment awarded to her in the case of violation of the inviolability of her home, committed with the use of violence.
“The court registered a case on the cancellation of the conditional conviction in connection with failure to fulfill the assigned duties, evasion of compensation for harm or the commission of a new crime,” the Simonovsky District Court told Interfax.
Now Lyubov Sobol is wanted, her location is unknown. Earlier she reported that she could not leave for Georgia from Armenia.
The case of violation of the inviolability of the home against Lyubov Sobol was initiated in December 2020. She was accused of harming Galina Subbotina, the mother-in-law of Konstantin Kudryavtsev, whom opposition leader Alexei Navalny believed was an FSB officer involved in his alleged poisoning. In August, the Preobrazhensky Court of Moscow appointed the lawyer 1.5 years of restriction of freedom on a “sanitary case”, in September the TFR opened a case against Alexei Navalny and his associates on the creation of an extremist community (part 1 of Art. 282.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), Lyubov Sobol also appears in German
