General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema receives the Gabonese diaspora from Kenya

Nairobi, February 29, 2024-While staying in Nairobi, Kenya, the President of the Transition, President of the Republic, Head of State His Excellency General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema met the Gabonese community.
Taking advantage of these moments of exchange, the Gabonese community of Nairobi, made up of around twenty compatriots including students, entrepreneurs and athletes, among others, congratulated the Head of State for the reforms undertaken in Gabon with a view to restoring institutions.
She also took the opportunity of this meeting to express to the President of the Transition her grievances, notably the construction of a consulate general, the granting of scholarships, and state support for Gabonese entrepreneurs living on Kenyan soil.
Taking note of the various requests, the President of the Republic instructed the government to provide solutions.
In addition, the President of the Transition agreed to the granting of state scholarships for two students in civil engineering as well as the provision of a subsidy for Mr. Fred Mandoukou, athlete. Gabonese living with deafness and who holds high the
colors of Gabon during international competitions.
