Alappuzha – AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal congratulated Alappuzha District Collector V.R.Krishna Teja for helping Adityalakshmi who faced financial challenges for her MBBS studies. Venugopal wrote on Facebook that it is not enough to appreciate the collector for giving wings to a dream that was thought to be burnt.

The intervention of the Collector is due to the news given by Malayalam Manorama the other day. Adityalakshmi had to drop out of studies due to financial difficulties despite getting a merit seat in Karakonam Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. The collector saw the news and sought the help of his friend Manoj, CEO of Ramachandra Textiles. The Collector called Adityalakshmi and his mother to his residence and assured them that Manoj has taken care of Aditya’s education expenses for five years and that he will not have to drop out due to financial difficulties.

KC Venugopal’s Facebook post:

Today I am in touch with Alappuzha District Collector Krishna Teja on phone with great pleasure. It is not enough to appreciate the collector for giving wings to a dream that was thought to be burnt. From a news in the newspaper, the collector finds a young genius named Adityalakshmi. Aditya Lakshmi, the daughter of Aumanakuttan and Kairali of Alappuzha Thottapally, was good at studies. Aditya studied with the desire to become a doctor and got full A plus in 10th and 2nd. After ranking in NEET exam and merit seat in Karakonam Medical College. Omanakuttan is unable to go to work due to heart disease. The total income of the family is the meager income earned by the mother who goes to work in the nearby shrimp peeling shed.

When Adityalakshmi and mother Kairali reached the collector’s official residence after accepting the collector’s invitation.

Alappuzha District Collector Krishna Teja took Aditya by the hand at the stage where the money was starting to cast a dark shadow on completing the expensive medical studies. Within an hour of reading the news, the collector contacted his friend Manoj, the CEO of Ramachandra Textiles. The boy must have felt an indescribable joy when the collector informed Aditya that Manoj had assured him to bear the entire cost of his studies for five years.
