Headphones Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless in the test

by time news

Et is almost exactly three years since Sennheiser introduced its first Momentum Wireless. The fourth version of the wireless circumaural headphones looks different compared to the first model. Only the price of 350 euros is almost the same. The design is more of a step backwards. Our test unit in black looks as boring as the products from Bose, Sony and others. Only with the fabric cover on the headband does the Momentum 4 Wireless stand out from the crowd of headphones. The model in white looks more refreshing, but is not a design marvel.

The shells are made of plastic, on the underside of which there is a USB-C connection, a button for switching the background noise suppression, a row of LEDs with status information and microphone inlets. The jack input is unusual, since hardly any smartphone still has an analogue output. Since there is an adapter for the aircraft in the storage case so that this special cable can be used to connect to the audio input on the aircraft seat, Sennheiser itself gives a hint as to what the socket could be good for.
