A statement from Mr. Al-Hakim’s office, which was received by the (INA), stated that “Mr. Al-Hakim, during his tour in Maysan Governorate, referred to the security, political and social stability achieved and the return of societal harmony among all components, which indicates the disappearance of sensitivities, and he said that this represents a phenomenon that must be addressed.” To observe it and stand by it, in addition to the presence of the state administration coalition, which represents a positive change at the political level,” calling for “changing the entrenched stereotypical situation about the Iraqi situation, that Iraq’s conditions are unstable, and for a realistic view of Iraq,” while holding the elites responsible for directing public opinion toward positive changes. and achievements achieved.”
Al-Hakim referred – according to the statement – to “machines that tried to demonize the Iraqi situation, and called for an end to the rentier state and linking the fate of Iraq to oil prices and for us to go to the five-factor economy represented by agriculture, industry, tourism, investment and technology. He praised the efforts that led to achieving self-sufficiency in the wheat crop.” Stressing, “Iraq has an industrial base if the social and logistical conditions for production are met. He also explained that investment represents an important input into addressing the Iraqi economy.”
He called for “investing capital in the region searching for investment opportunities,” noting that “investment requires a culture that accepts the investor and the conviction that the investor is looking for an economic interest through investment, as well as addressing administrative reality, routine, and bureaucracy.”
He stressed, “Iraq has diverse natural, archaeological, and religious tourism components that represent important economic opportunities and resources,” stressing, “Keeping pace with technological development and artificial intelligence mutations, so that we do not lag behind the world and its mutations in this field.”
He explained, “Decentralization is the philosophy of the current political system and is the basis for fair wealth and the distribution of roles in the field of construction and reconstruction,” stressing, “The transfer of powers in the previous time was not thought out as it coincided with an economic crisis and the state’s preoccupation with the war on terrorism and transferring budgets to it.”
He stated, “This stage required training and clear instructions consistent with the philosophy of Law 21 of the provincial councils.”
He pointed out, “There are two principles: the first wants to adhere to centralization, and the second principle is to implement decentralization as a constitutional basis and the philosophy of a political system, and holds the elites responsible for defending decentralization, because it is the best way to achieve social justice,” stressing, “The importance of dealing with Turkey is based on a three-fold equation.” Represented by water, trade and security.

He pointed out that “the Prime Minister’s visit to America was to discuss the activation of all provisions of the strategic framework agreement,” noting that “this agreement was voted on by a majority of the members of the Iraqi Council of Representatives.”
He stressed, “the necessity of preserving Iraq’s position as a key player in the region to resolve outstanding problems,” explaining, “regional visits come within the framework of communication and building positive relations in the service of Iraq and are consistent with the official Iraqi position while discussing the exchange of views on regional issues.”
He stated, “The economy needs bold decisions,” calling for “the release of allocations to the fund for the poorest provinces.”
He reminded, “Maysan is the second oil-producing city after Basra and needs compensation for the social and environmental impacts,” stressing, “Empowering young people and believing in their abilities, as the success of young people will send a message to others about the importance of betting on them and giving them opportunities and important positions.”
He stressed, “Combat drugs as a scourge that threatens Iraqi society.”
