jpnn.comJAKARTA – The presence of technology-literate health workers (Nakes) will help provide services to the community.

In this digital era, it has become a necessity to have and be able to use digital technology.

“Health workers can use technology effectively to improve the quality of health services (Yankes),” said Head of the Government Sector Digital Literacy Team, Diah Aliefya, Sunday (24/3).

According to him, this can increase accessibility for the community and also accelerate progress in the medical field.

Indonesia has challenges with geographical conditions and infrastructure which become obstacles in the health sector.

“Digital literacy is an important key to ensuring equitable and quality health care for the community,” he continued.

Increasing understanding of digital literacy can support the digital transformation of the health sector in Indonesia. This also requires support from various parties.

“The Ministry of Communication and Information alone is not enough, there must be support and collaboration from various parties, including professional institutions, such as the Indonesian Health Workers Council,” he continued.

Health workers (nakes) are digitally literate, health services will automatically improve.
