Dubai: Heavy rain continues in UAE for the second day in a row. The rain that started in the morning continued in most parts of the morning. Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai were flooded due to heavy rain. A special task force has reached the scene for emergency rescue operations in Sharjah. Sharjah Supreme Emergency Committee Director General Obaid Saeed Al Tanaji announced that the 24-hour control room has been opened.

A special team has reached the scene to pump the water on the road and avoid the waterlogging. All parks in Sharjah are closed. There are also restrictions on those who go to tourist destinations. Due to waterlogging in Dubai, there was a traffic jam in many places. Rain continues in the capital Abu Dhabi. Rain is forecast to continue on Wednesday.

Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah and Al Dhafra received rain, according to the Meteorological Department. Al Barsha, Dubai Investment Park, Jebel Ali and Abu Dhabi-Dubai Road received heavy rainfall.

Meanwhile, various parts of Qatar received rain. Heavy rain fell in different parts of Qatar on Monday. The Meteorological Department had earlier issued a rain warning. Doha, Al Wakrah, Luzail and Umsaid all received good rain. It will rain in the north and west from morning. At some places there was strong wind along with thunder and rain.

The weather department has warned that the country will be cold after the rains. From today onwards, the temperature will decrease as the north-westerly wind will increase in strength. Authorities advised the public to be cautious.

The Meteorological Center has informed that rain and hail will continue in some areas of Saudi Arabia in the coming days. Rain will continue in eastern areas and coastal areas of Tabuk. Strong winds are also likely in Asir and Jizan provinces. There will also be hailstorms. Makkah, Madinah, Northern Borders, Al Jouf, Tabuk, Hail, Al Qasim, Eastern and Northern parts of Riyadh provinces will also experience a decrease in temperature in the coming days.
