HISENSE and TOSHIBA monitors are the first among the manufacturers to offer Network 13, Rainbow 12+ and Here 11 apps, all of which are available directly in the VIDAA OS operating system and free of charge. The content apps and live broadcasts of the entertainment and news channels in Israel are gaining momentum, when just this week Keshet officially launched 12+, which joined the apps of Network 13 and Here 11, and will offer rich VOD content alongside the channel’s free broadcasts. This, after until now, consumers had to purchase from external media streams to enjoy all the options.
HISENSE and TOSHIBA monitors, through the built-in operating system VIDAA OS, were the first to offer 12+ and now the move has been completed together with Network 13, thus making the system the only one among all monitor manufacturers to offer the three applications for download in the operating system, not through Android-based media streams /Apple or through the various communication companies that charge a fee for the connection.
Gershon Petrushkathe CEO of New Display, an importer of HISENSE and TOSHIBA screens, said that “Our goal is that everyone who purchases or owns HISENSE and TOSHIBA televisions will be able to watch what they want, without paying and directly on the television screen, without the need for a converter and another remote, or purchase of any additional product/service”.
In the meantime, the sales volume of HISENSE and TOSHIBA in Israel stands at one hundred thousand screens per year, to which are added over 130 thousand screens with the operating system VIDAA OS generation 4 and above, which supports the application, which are already with customers. Already today, HISENSE and TOSHIBA screens broadcast directly to the consumer their content on VIDAA OS, among others Netflix, PRIME VIDEO, You Tube, APPLE TV PLUS, NBA and recently also FIFA+ for World Cup broadcasts and other exclusive content.
