Fiorella Mannoia, among the competitors competing at the next Sanremo Festival, was the protagonist of a nice little scene during the rehearsals preceding the singing competition. Due to a misunderstanding during rehearsals with the orchestra, the singer offered coffee to all 60 members of the ensemble. While she was rehearsing the song «Mariposa» with which she will compete at the festival, she realized that she had not worn the headphones that should have allowed her to listen to the musical accompaniment. The artist recalled the incident at the bar counter: «You can’t hear it! I only hear outside!». «Thank you, I didn’t have headphones on…», she then added, amidst the laughter of the musicians. Her husband, Carlo Di Francesco, ironically announced the price: «The artist pays!».
