According to the survey, 44% of respondents generally see more benefits from digital adoption than harm; 20% said only benefits, 15% saw more harm than good, and 7% only harm.

Analysts said that the number of cybercrimes has increased 25 times over the past five years. Such crimes are characterized by low detection rates – about 25%. These figures were influenced by the coronavirus pandemic, the researchers added. In their opinion, the main digital threats to the rights of citizens are algorithmic data processing by digital platforms and the state, which can lead to a violation of privacy; digital discrimination of people by the state or private companies based on the abuse of personal or big data; cyberattacks, cyberbullying and trolling; information wars, an increase in the number of “fake news”, etc.
