As already announced, Yamaha will be re-launching its popular RX100 bike in a new form.
One of the most popular bikes among Indians, the Yamaha RX100 was a sales flagship from 1985 to 1996. Especially, in the early 90s, this bike was widely bought. Although Yamaha has marketed many innovative bikes, the RX. It can be said that the attraction towards the 100 vehicle has not decreased even today. Today this bike is hard to come by even if you pay more than Rs 50k. The Yamaha RX was the dream vehicle of 80s and 90s kids. Yamaha has decided to relaunch the 100 bike with a new facelift.
It has been decided to make some changes in the upcoming Yamaha RX 100 bike. That is, the design of this bike is planned to improve the design of the old bike and make it more appealing to the RX100 lovers. However, the new model seems to have a sophisticated retro look unlike the old 2-stroke version. It also gets telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. As far as braking is concerned, it will get a disc brake on the front wheel and a drum brake on the rear wheel.

Not only the design but also the engine will be changed. The new generation RX100 bike is equipped with a more powerful engine with modern fuel injectors. The bike is said to be powered by a 125cc or 150cc engine. Apart from that, various features including LED DRLs, electric start, semi-digital instrument console will be available. It almost seems that Yamaha will develop a completely new platform for this new model.

It is said that this bike could be launched in the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024. It is also expected to be sold in the market at a price of Rs 1.25 to 1.5 lakh.
