in 2021 the state-owned shares of 2 companies were privatized by classic auction and the state-owned share of 1 company by direct sale.

The funds received from privatization amounted to 407 million 547 thousand drams, of which 294 million drams were transferred to the privatization account of the RA state budget, and 112 million drams were transferred to the budgets of communities. Arnak Avetisyan, the chairman of the state property management committee of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, spoke about this.

On June 10, the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs discussed the issue of “Approving the 2021 annual report on the implementation of the 2017-2020 program of privatization of state property.”

The report covers 2021. the privatization and liquidation transactions carried out during the period, the information on the budgetary receipts received from the privatization, as well as the results of the privatization according to the investments made in individual companies and the requirements for maintaining the profile.

Arnak Avetisyan, presenting the information on the obligations assumed by the new owners as a result of privatization transactions and their fulfillment, noted that 5 obligations were assumed, of which 3 buyers fulfilled the profile maintenance obligations, 1 buyer did not fulfill the profile maintenance obligations.

The document also reflects information about the liquidation process and the obligations that were paid off as a result. During the reporting period, 2 commercial organizations were in the process of liquidation. the liquidation process is complete. “As a result of the settlement process, about 4 million 152 thousand drams of creditor debt was paid off,” Arnak Avetisyan informed.

During the reporting period, an addition was made to the program: “Special Mountain Rescue Service” CJSC was included in the list of the privatization program.

The committee approved the discussed report.

In the second reading, the bill “On Amendments to the Civil Code of the Republic of Armenia” authored by MP Gevorg Papoyan was discussed and received a positive conclusion.
