India excludes Singapore from list of high-risk countries But passengers from here have to follow additional steps including post-arrival testing.

Precautionary measures were taken in India in the wake of the confirmation of the first Omikron case in South Africa. Checks for passengers from South Africa at airports have been tightened. The list includes high-risk countries such as the United Kingdom, South Africa, Brazil, Botswana, China, Ghana, Mauritius, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Hong Kong and Israel.

Passengers arriving from high-risk countries are required to take additional steps upon arrival in the country, including post-arrival testing. The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that a new corona virus variant has been confirmed in 23 countries and the number is likely to rise.
