Bike, scooter sales February 2024: The details regarding the two-wheeler sales reported in the Indian automobile market for the month of February have been released.

Bike Sales:

The Indian automobile market continues to see a boom in monthly total car sales. From January 2023 to February 2024, auto sales rose for the 14th consecutive month. In this case, the details related to the sales of two-wheelers reported in the Indian market in the month of February have been revealed. Accordingly, the sales figures of six major manufacturers in the Indian two-wheeler market have been released. They are listed below.

Hero MotoCorp: 4,45,257 units:

Hero MotoCorp, the leader in the two-wheeler market in India, continues to maintain its top position. Compared to its January sales figure of 4,20,934 units, February sales increased by 5.8 percent. Compared to its sales figure for February 2023 (3,82,317 units), it has increased by 16.46 percent.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI): 4,13,967 units:

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has retained its second position in the Indian two-wheeler market. Accordingly, the company’s sales increased by 8.2 percent in February compared to January 2024 (3,82,512 units). Compared to the February 2023 period (2,27,064 units), sales in February this year have increased by 82.31 percent.

TVS Motor Company: 2,67,502 units:

TVS continues to occupy the third position in the Indian two-wheeler market. Compared to its January 2024 sales of 2,68,233 units, sales declined by 0.3 percent. However, the Hosur-based company sold 20.82 percent more units in the current year than its February 2023 figure of 2,21,402 units. This figure does not include sales of TVS’ electric two-wheelers – the iQube e-scooter range and the expensive and niche X.

Bajaj Auto: 1,70,527 units:

Bajaj saw a decline of 11.80 percent in February compared to January 2024 sales (1,93,350 units). Meanwhile, compared to its February 2023 sales (1,20,335 units), last February’s sales increased by 38.51 percent. This includes the sale of the Bajaj Chetak e-scooter.

Suzuki: 83,304 units:

It sold more than 80,000 units in February as well as in January 2024 when it sold 80,511 units. That means its sales have increased by 3.47 percent. Compared to its February 2023 sales figure of 52,451 units, Suzuki saw a growth of 58.82 percent last February.

Royal Enfield: 67,922 units:

Royal Enfield saw a decline of 3.73 percent last month compared to 70,556 units sold in January 2024. However, compared to its February 2023 sales figure of 64,436 units, last February’s sales increased by 5.41 percent.
