The Jerusalem District Attorney’s Office today (Monday) filed an indictment in the city district court against Avraham Moshe Kreuss, 44, a resident of Beitar Illit, for committing offenses of serious acts on an 11-year-old boy near a football field in the ultra-Orthodox city.

According to the indictment, which was filed through attorney Yifat Pinhasi-Nevo, about a week ago, the defendant noticed a child who was on his way to the sports field, and asked him if he was on his way there.

When answered in the affirmative, he accompanied him.

The boy was later arrested near a water fountain near the sports field, so the defendant committed indecent acts on him.

At one point, the boy moved the defendant’s hand, kicked him – and fled the scene.

The indictment attributes to the defendant the commission of an indecent act on a minor in the circumstances of rape.

The prosecution is asking the court to order the detention of the accused until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
