BMW Motorrad has launched an electric scooter named CE 04 in the Indian market with a completely different look.
BMW is a leader in the sale of luxury cars and bikes and sells a wide range of products ranging from luxury bikes to EV bikes in the international market. Following this in the US Rs. BMW Motorrad has launched its premium electric scooter, the CE 04, in India with a price tag of over 9 lakhs.
The looks of this new CE04 scooter are ruckered and designed in a skateboard style. It can be said that it almost looks like the bikes seen in films like ‘Bat Man’ and James Bond. Apart from that, the number of people who prefer scooters to bikes is increasing recently. In this case, it is expected that such scooters will be well received among the youth when they are sold in India.

The bike is equipped with the same technical features as a luxury car. In that way, we can access the ride mode through the 10.25 inch big screen provided. It has three different riding modes namely Navigation, Eco, Road and Rain. Apart from that, the electric scooter is equipped with a high-quality TFT screen. A smartphone can also be connected to it.

An 8.9 kWh lithium-ion battery pack is used in this electric scooter. The 15 kW motor in it is capable of pumping out a maximum power of 42 HP. Its top speed is 120 kmph. Not only this, this motor is capable of going from zero to 50 kmph in just 2.6 seconds.

If this battery is fully charged, we can travel up to a distance of about 130 km. Also, its battery can be charged at high speed. It can be fully charged in one hour and 40 minutes when charged through a 6.9 kW fast charger point.

Along with these, a 35mm telescopic fork at the front and a preload adjustable monoshock CE 04 Electric at the rear are used to provide the best riding experience. A 120 section tire is used at the front and a 160 section tire at the rear. Currently only this CE04 scooter has been launched in India. Pricing is yet to be announced. Information may be released soon.
