Joe Biden’s party won the Senate in the US Parliament

Elections for the US House of Representatives and the Senate were held on the 8th. Voting was held for a total of 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the Senate.

The votes cast in the election were counted and the results announced. There was a fierce competition between the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. Former President Trump’s Republican Party is close to a majority in the House of Representatives with 211 seats. The Democratic Party won 204 seats.

President Joe Biden’s Democratic Party took over the Senate. The party won 50 seats. The Republican Party has 48 seats. The Senate was taken over by the Democrats’ victory in Nevada amid a bitter tug-of-war between the two parties.
