Julia Garner to Star in “Wolf Man” Thriller Opposite Christopher Abbott

Julia Garner, known for her role in the crime series Ozark, is set to star alongside Christopher Abbott in the upcoming werewolf thriller, “Wolf Man.” The film is being directed by Leigh Whannell, who previously worked on “Invisible Man.”

Garner will play a mother whose family is terrorized by a lethal predator, while Abbott will portray the father. The casting marks a reunion between Garner and Abbott, who previously worked together in the 2011 drama “Martha, Marcy, May, Marlene.”

The script for “Wolf Man” was written by Whannell, Corbett Tuck, Lauren Schuker Blum, and Rebecca Angelo. The film is produced by Jason Blum and is scheduled for release on October 25, 2024.

The executive producers of the film include Ryan Gosling, Ken Kao, Bea Sequeira, Mel Turner, and Whannell. “Wolf Man” will be a Blumhouse and Motel Movies production. Garner, a rising star in Hollywood, has won three Emmys for her performance in Ozark, as well as earning nominations for her work in “Inventing Anna.”
