Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp, said that the Reds’ lead in the English Premier League team standings is evidence of its strength, but he is well aware that things are subject to change quickly.

Liverpool tops the standings with 60 points, one point behind Manchester City, which is in second place, and two points behind Arsenal, which is in third place.
Klopp admitted that achieving victories for the team was the only way to stay at the top of the standings, in light of the constant pursuit by competitors, and that the matter had become difficult with many injuries on the team’s roster.
Klopp said: “We are one point ahead of Manchester City, and two points ahead of Arsenal, but that means nothing.”
The German coach continued: “The situation was more comfortable in the team two years ago. I remember that we could make big changes between tournaments.”
He explained: “You can’t really compare it to the current situation, but the team showed that it can compete, fight and win something.”
He concluded: “Some people will be happy with that, and others will tell you that it is not enough. We hope that it will be a successful season.”
