Skoda has joined the list as leading car makers continue to announce price hikes. The company said on Friday it would increase the price of cars by up to 3 percent.

Skoda Auto brand director Zuck Hollis said in a statement:

In the domestic market, Skoda sells Kushkah, Kodiak and Octavia models. The prices of key raw materials, including steel, aluminum and copper, have become a major burden on the oil company.

Therefore, Skoda has decided to increase the price of all models by up to 3 percent from January 1, 2022, taking into account the increase in input cost and operational cost increase.

Companies including Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Tata Motors and Honda Cos have already announced price hikes.
