Rebellion attempt again, handcuffed: Neighboring Germany warns of Kovid crisis Health Minister Jens Spann said the fourth wave of the Covid had plunged Germany, Europe’s largest economy, into a national emergency. He urged the people to reduce the number of cases and social interactions with vaccination alone.
About two-thirds of Austria’s population has been vaccinated. But Chancellor Alexander Shalenberg told a news conference that the government was not doing enough to educate those who had not been vaccinated. He said the lockdown would begin on Monday.
