Kozhikode: The district medical officer said that 4,143 Kovid positive cases have been reported in the district. A total of 21,415 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are undergoing treatment. 16,547 people are being treated at home. The most comforting thing is that there are no more patients in the hospitals. Of the 723 active patients, only one is hospitalized. There are only 221 government hospitals in the district. There are 448 people in private hospitals. Only 44 of the second line treatment centers and 10 of the first line treatment centers are in treatment. The disease was confirmed in 4,027 people through contact, 78 people whose source was not clear, 31 people from outside the state and seven health care workers. 9,058 people were screened. Another 2,434 people who were treated at Kovid hospitals, FLTCs and homes in the district recovered. The test positivity rate is 46.64%. A total of 21,415 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are undergoing treatment. 16,547 people are being treated at home. There are currently 22,962 people under surveillance, including 4,116 newcomers. 4,600 deaths have been reported so far.
