‘After seeing the film, I dreamed of Shah Rukh Khan calling me.’
ChActress Swasika opens up about Thuram movie. A change from the fixed roles came when they squared off. When the square came, I felt that if I didn’t say yes, it would be a big loss. ‘I was not waiting for such a character. Wanted one like Sridevi did in Deva Raag. Working in this field for 13 years. But he did not reach a character that gave him self-satisfaction. Vasanthi was one such movie but not many people saw it. When the square came, I felt it would be a big loss if I didn’t say yes.’

She also spoke about director Siddharth Bharat. Swasika opined that Siddharth Bharathan has the ability to make actors act without them knowing. After seeing him, I felt a little more confident. She also shared the memory of going to an audition to act in a Tamil film when she was in the 10th standard. It was the time when Subramaniapuram came down.
