An interesting statistic revealed that Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo did not occupy the top scorers list in the five major European leagues over the last decade.
The all-time top scorer in football left European stadiums at the end of 2022, leaving Manchester United for Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia.
According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, Ronaldo ranks third on the list of top scorers in the five major European leagues over the past 10 years.
The Portuguese scored 350 goals in 406 matches, coming behind his Argentine rival Lionel Messi, who scored 377 goals, but played 52 more matches than (the Don).
The surprise lies in the leader, Polish Robert Lewandowski, the Barcelona striker, who scored 407 goals in 478 matches.
In fourth place is Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, scoring 309 goals in 453 matches, followed by French duo Kylian Mbappe (271) and Karim Benzema (257).
Gabonese Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Marseille striker, came seventh with 256 goals in 430 matches, more than Egyptian Mohamed Salah by 6 goals, despite the latter playing 461 matches.
After that, comes Luis Suarez, who scored (241) goals in 388 matches, then Ciro Immobile, with 239 goals in 409 matches.
