Those who want to get such number plates can apply through the ‘Abshir’ platform of the Home Ministry after paying the fee in the traffic account.

Riyadh: The Saudi Traffic Department has released new vehicle number plates with logos featuring five distinct logos depicting the symbols of Saudi Arabia. The Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) has announced that it will start issuing vehicle number plates with the distinctive logo of five symbols, namely ‘Saudi Vision’, ‘The official emblem of the country with two swords and palm trees’, ‘Madain Salih’ and ‘Daraiya’. 
The fee for new number plates is 800 riyals. Those who want to get such number plates should pay the fee in the traffic account and then go to the ‘Abshir’ platform of the Home Ministry and select ‘Traffic’ from the Services tab. Then take ‘Contact’ and select ‘Request number plate with logo’ and apply for number plates. The application should include the details of their vehicle, number plate they want to replace and the required logo. Also a copy of the payment receipt should be attached on the ‘Abshir’ platform.

Riyadh: Arab coalition forces have launched heavy airstrikes on Houthi Rebels’ military bases in Yemen following a drone strike on King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Airport, Jizan. In view of the threat, the Houthi military targets in Al-Bayda governorate were destroyed by airstrikes.
Coalition sources said that airstrikes would continue to target the Houthis to protect civilians. Sixteen civilians were injured in a Houthi drone strike on Jizan Airport on Monday. The coalition initially said four people were injured. The coalition later said 16 people from different countries were injured. The condition of the three injured passengers is critical.
The Arab League has accused the Houthis of carrying out cross-border attacks from Sana’a airport in Yemen. Strong measures will be taken to protect the civilian population within the framework of international law. Jizan is preparing for a massive military operation in the wake of the attack. The Houthis will suffer the consequences of attacks targeting civilians. Coalition sources said the Houthis could only understand the language of force and military action.
