Rewa: Preparations for Lok Sabha elections have intensified in Madhya Pradesh. In this series, Congress has made former Semaria MLA Neelam Mishra its candidate from Rewa Lok Sabha seat. Who is Neelam Mishra?
Congress Lok Sabha candidate Neelam Mishra is a post graduate from Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa. In the 2013 assembly elections, BJP had fielded Neelam Mishra from Semaria assembly seat. He won by defeating BSP candidate Pankaj Singh by 5977 votes. But in the year 2018, Abhay Mishra and his wife left BJP and joined Congress, making serious allegations against some party leaders.
When BJP did not give the ticket, they joined Congress. After that, before the 2023 assembly, the former MLA husband-wife returned home. They had left Congress and joined BJP on August 11. But when Abhay Mishra was not given ticket from Semaria, both of them left BJP and joined Congress. After this, the Congress party made Neelam Mishra’s husband Abhay Mishra its candidate in the 2023 assembly and he won. After the finalization of Neelam Mishra’s ticket from Congress, the election contest from Rewa seat will become interesting. Candidates of both Congress and BJP parties will be from Semaria area only. BJP MP and candidate Janardan Mishra also comes from Semaria assembly constituency.

Focus will be on the issue of unemployment. After getting the ticket, Neelam Mishra reached the temple on Sunday and offered prayers to Mother Goddess and took her blessings. After getting the ticket, he thanked the top leadership of Congress. Along with this, she said that she will do whatever is possible for the district. Unemployment is a big issue here. Educated people are wandering unemployed here. The youth here did not get employment even after being a BJP minister. Neelam Mishra said that the focus will be on providing employment to the youth.

Taking aim at BJP regarding Ram Mandir, Anilaam Mishra said that Ram Mandir is the temple of God which BJP has made an issue. The public itself is intelligent. He said that there have been BJP MPs here for 10 years but even after that no development has taken place. There was no development for the common people and the poor here.
