The first 10 winners of the receipt lottery have been drawn from the Customs and Monopoly Agency and will receive a prize of 100 thousand euros each.
The receipt lottery started at the beginning of February to promote, together with cashback, the use of traceable payment instruments. Over 4 million Italians, according to the data provided by the Mef, have requested the code to be able to participate while the purchases valid for the first draw reach almost 17 million.
The winners, contacted by certified e-mail or registered mail, will have 90 days to collect the € 100,000 prize. The winning codes of the February contest were published by Adm on his Twitter profile.
From June, weekly draws will be added which will distribute 15 prizes of 25,000 euros each week for those who buy and 15 prizes of 5,000 euros for those who sell. The first annual draw will be held at the beginning of next year, which will reward one of the purchases made from 1 February to 31 December 2021, assigning 5 million euros to a buyer and 1 million euros to a merchant.
