As theme-based wedding events are being held, the number of weddings in halls has started to decrease. Accordingly, many people are changing to the habit of conducting destination weddings in homes and places of worship and holding the reception only in the respective halls, simply according to their convenience.

In this situation, the news of an old couple from America having their wedding at the place where they met for the first time is widely talked about across the ocean. The question may arise as to what is new in this. But the old couple did not meet and talk in some park or beach. Their love journey started in a grocery store.

72-year-old Brenda Williams and 78-year-old Dennis Delgado from Arizona in the southwestern part of the United States. The couple got married at a grocery store in Casa Grande, Arizona.

Dennis and Brenda met at the grocery store in August 2021 during the Corona lockdown. While Brenda is desperately looking for mayonnaise, Dennis continues to follow her and try to talk to her.

At that time, he said, “Everyone was wearing a mask. ‘What’s the good thing about wearing a mask? Even if you talk about someone while passing by, you don’t know anything.’ “They won’t hear it either,” he said to Brenda, laughing uproariously there. Dennis told Fox 13 News.

He continued to speak, “After talking for half an hour that day, our relationship started with the exchange of phone numbers and went to meeting and dating,” said Dennis.

Brenda spoke after him, “After my husband died of prostate cancer, I lost the purpose of living. Out of 30 years of my married life, I spent 10 years taking care of my husband. Dennis also spoke about the loss of his wife of 45 years.

It was at this stage that Dennis and Brenda met and became friends. Exactly 9 months later, when the two went to the same grocery store again this November, Brenda knelt down and held out the ring for Dennis to express his love for her and both eagerly showered him with kisses.

Many, including the grocery store employees who witnessed the event, were moved and congratulated Dennis and Brenda.
