LPG cylinder price has been changed from 1st July this month. Although the price of the commercial cylinder has come down, there has been no change in the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder.

LPG cylinder price hiked to Rs.168.50 in a year
In the last one year, the price of domestic LPG cylinders in Delhi has increased from Rs 834.50 to Rs 1003. The price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder was last hiked by Rs.4 on 19 May 2022. Earlier, the cylinder price in Delhi on May 7 was Rs.999.50. LPG cylinder price has increased to Rs.50 on May 7 from Rs.949.50 on March 22, 2022. Similarly, on March 22, the price of a cylinder went up by Rs 50. It may be noted that earlier, from October 2021 to February 2022, the price of domestic LPG cylinders in Delhi was Rs 899.50.

LPG sales rose 0.23 percent to 22.6 lakh tonnes in June. This is 9.6 percent higher compared to June, 2020, 27.9 percent higher compared to June, 2019 and 6 percent higher LPG sales compared to June, 2021.
