Alexander Lukashenko, during a meeting with Vladimir Putin on July 23 in St. Petersburg, made several strange statements. In particular, he began to threaten Western countries with a campaign of mercenaries from PMC Wagner to Poland and the Czech Republic:

“Maybe you shouldn’t have said it. But I will say that the Wagnerites began to “strain” us. They ask to the west: “Let us!” I say: “Why do you need to go west there?” Well, in a quiet place … We control what happens. – “Well, we’ll go on an excursion to Warsaw and Rzeszow.”

“And Rzeszow is unacceptable for them. When they fought near Artemovsk, they know where the military equipment came from. They have this inside: Rzeszow is a disaster. Of course, I keep them in the center of Belarus, as agreed. I wouldn’t want to relocate them there. Because they are in a bad mood. And, we must pay tribute, they know what is happening around the Union State,” Alexander Lukashenko was quoted by the telegram channel “Pul of the First”.

As UDF reported, on Saturday, July 22, Lukashenko arrived on a working visit to Russia, where he is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On the eve of the visit, the head of Russia attacked Poland with threats, accusing it of “territorial claims against Belarus.” Later, the absurd theses of the head of the Kremlin were repeated by the Russian ambassador to Belarus, Boris Gryzlov.

It should be noted that this is the first meeting between Lukashenka and Putin after the end of Yevgeny Prigozhin’s military rebellion.

According to Lukashenka, it was he who negotiated with the head of the Wagner PMC, after which he agreed to stop the “justice march” on Moscow.

Currently, Wagner mercenaries are being redeployed from Russia to military camps built for them in Belarus.

Earlier, the Belarusian Vyvedka telegram channel, which specializes in inside information, wrote that “for almost a month since the Wagner rebellion, Lukashenka has been trying to contact Putin,” but “there is no answer in the Kremlin.”

But now, as we see, Putin agreed to meet with his Belarusian counterpart.
