Priyadarshan’s new song ‘Marakkar’ from ‘Marakari’, which tells the story of Kunjali Marakkar IV, has been released. The song is shot in the form of a kirtan sung by Nedumudi Venu at the Rajasadass of the Kozhikode Zamorin. The lyrical video has been released. BK Harinarayan has penned the lyrics for the song which starts with ‘Nie N Thaye’. Music by Ronnie Raphael. Sung by Harishankar and Reshma Raghavendra.
Marakkar, the first 100 crore budget film in Malayalam, will hit theaters across the world on December 2. Mohanlal fans are excited to see the film, which has been released indefinitely in the Kovid setting, finally be seen in theaters. This is the dream project of Priyadarshan and Mohanlal. It has been announced that the movie produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas will be released as a direct OTD first. However, due to government interference and lengthy discussions, the producers decided to bring the film to the theaters. Roy CJ and Santosh T Kuruvila are the co-producers.
Sabu Cyril is the production designer of the historical drama film, which is set on a large canvas. Cinematography by Thiru, Editing by Ayyappan Nair. The script is written by Ani IV Sasi along with Priyadarshan. Priyadarshan stars Pranav Mohanlal, Arjun, Sunil Shetty, Prabhu, Manju Warrier, Suhasini, Keerthi Suresh, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Fazil, Siddique, Nedumudi Venu, Innocent and Ashok Selvan.
