Lahore: Former spinner Danish Kanaria says Pakistan Cricket Board has a lot to learn from Indian cricket even though they are nicknamed rivals on the field. Kanaria praised that BCCI is molding the future team by giving more opportunities to young players while Pakistan is only looking at the current affairs.
“After the last T20 World Cup, Pakistan played less matches. Won six out of seven matches. And lost the big match against Australia. Meanwhile, India played 24 matches. Out of which 19 matches were won. India’s passing average is very high. India’s B and C teams played more matches. As said by Rohit Sharma, Team India is strengthening the bench. The Indian team looks to the future. Unfortunately Pakistan doesn’t think so. There are no measures to strengthen the bench. Young players should have the courage to try. At least a few young players should be given a chance in the Netherlands tour,’ said Danish Canaria on his YouTube channel.

India to compensate
The first India-Pak match of the Asia Cup is on August 28 in Dubai. India lost by 10 wickets when the two teams met in the last T20 World Cup. The aim of Rohit Sharma and his team is to compensate for this.
In the last T20 World Cup, India’s 151 runs were surpassed by Pakistan with 13 balls to spare. Pakistan beat India for the first time in World Cup history. Only captain Virat Kohli (57 off 49 balls) and Rishabh Pant (39 off 30 balls) who got out in an attempt to score runs were the best in the Indian line-up. Pakistan captain Babar Azam and wicket keeper Mohammad Rizwan smashed the Indian bowlers without giving any loopholes in the reply batting. Rizwan was unbeaten on 79* and Babar was unbeaten on 68* when Pakistan won the game.
