On February 25, the final day of the World Cup competition in trampoline and tumbling started at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Day.Az reported on Sunday with reference to Trend.
According to the competition day program, the first to compete for medals are the gymnasts performing in the individual trampoline program.
Then the final competitions in acrobatic jumps will take place, where Azerbaijan will be represented by two gymnasts Mikhail Malkin and Adil Hajizade. The men’s tumbling final starts at 13:45.
The competition day will be completed by athletes performing in the synchronized trampoline program.
It should be noted that the World Cup in trampoline and tumbling will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on February 23-25. Gymnasts from 32 countries take part in the competition.
The World Cup in Baku is a qualifying event for the 2024 Olympic Games for individual trampoline gymnasts.
At the World Cup in Trampoline and Tumbling, six sets of medals will be awarded. Also at the competition, the gymnasts who receive the highest score for their performance in each program will be awarded the AGF Trophy.
