To talk about Mina we must start from here, from 1978, the year of the turning point that made her an icon. The farewell to the scenes and the absence that has become absolute presence. In ’78 the Cremona tiger returns to perform live. She does it in Versilia at Bussoladomani, in Lido di Camaiore. Each concert is introduced every evening by monologues by different comedians, including Walter Chiari, Gino Bramieri and the La Smorfia trio (Massimo Troisi, Enzo Decaro and Lello Arena). There were fifteen shows scheduled and they would have covered the entire summer season: in reality there were only eleven due to a lung infection that struck the singer before the end of the tour, which in any case was a great success. Her last concert ever has a date: August 23, 1978. It became a cult double album «Mina Live ’78», included by Rolling Stone magazine among “the 100 most beautiful Italian records of all time”
