Burrows, which has been in the audience’s attention since its announcement, is one of the most hyped films of 2023. There were rumors that Pranav Mohanlal would appear in Mohanlal’s directorial but there were no official confirmations. The fact that Pranav was seen in the pictures that came out during the shooting gave support to the news, but there were also doubts whether he was the co-director. A video of Mohanlal and Pranam together on the sets of Burrows is circulating now.
In the video, Mohanlal is seen giving instructions to Pranav in front of the camera. Mohanlal is describing the shot to Pranav who is coming down the stairs. TK Rajeev Kumar and still photographer Anish Upasana are also seen in the video.
Mohanlal’s directorial debut ‘Burrows’ is announced in April 2019. The official launch of the film was on March 24, 2021. Mohanlal said on the Bigg Boss stage that Burroughs will be introduced first on the international platform. Art director Santhosh Raman had recently said that Onam will hit the theaters this year. Being a 3D fantasy film, the graphics are of utmost importance. A lot of the post production work of the film is progressing overseas. The film is based on the story of Jijo, who directed ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’, India’s first 3D film.
Noted director TK Rajeev Kumar is the co-director of Baros. Spanish stars Paz Vega and Rafael Amargo also acted in the film. Bollywood music director Mark Killian is composing the background score for Burroughs.
