More sanctions against Russia

by time news

BRUSSELS – The European Union has decided to impose more sanctions on Russia until Ukraine is freed. The tenth package of sanctions was approved the day after the war anniversary.

In an interview given to a TV channel yesterday on the occasion of the anniversary of the war, Russian President Vladimir Putin responded that it is enough to fear a nuclear-capable NATO alliance. He also announced that Russia was withdrawing from the 2010 START treaty. Under the treaty, US observers would be allowed to inspect Russian nuclear facilities.

He pointed out that this cannot be allowed when the United States and NATO are waiting for Russia’s defeat in Ukraine.

At the same time, Russia’s attack on Ukraine continues. Ukraine claimed to have foiled the attack near Yahidne. Yesterday, Russia announced that it had captured a village in the eastern region.
