Náutico and Ceará played out a goalless draw on Wednesday night (14), at Aflitos, in the third round of Nordestão. Timbu was better, created good opportunities, but couldn’t take the score off the scoreboard. Vozão, in turn, started well, but lost its production and saw goalkeeper Richard save.
Timbu, it must be said, sent two balls onto the crossbar and saw goalkeeper Richard save on at least three chances.
Náutico returns to the field on Sunday (18), against Retrô, at Arena de Pernambuco, at 5pm, in the eighth round of the State Championship. Ceará, in turn, plays on Saturday (17), against Fortaleza, at 4:40 pm, in the fifth round of Cearense.

The first half was very busy for Aflitos. Even playing away from home, Ceará started better and had two great opportunities to open the score in the opening 15 minutes. Facundo Barceló came face to face with Vágner, but the red-and-white goalkeeper made a great save and saved. Later, Saulo Mineiro shot from outside the area, but Timbu’s archer palmed it again.
Náutico, in turn, improved in the final half of the first half. And he even sent two balls onto the crossbar. The game continued with Náutico pressing and creating the best arrivals. Timbu had great chances with Rafael Vaz and Thalissinho, but stopped at Richard, who made two good interventions and saved Ceará.
