Important message for UAE residents. Petrol prices in the UAE rose by nearly 30 fils per liter in November. The increase comes after three months of reductions. As of today, i.e. November 1, Super 98 petrol will be priced at Dhs 3.32 per litre. It was 3.03 dirhams in October. The price of Special 95 petrol is Dhs 3.20 per litre. It was 2.92 dirhams in October. E-Plus 91 petrol price is Dhs 3.13 per litre. It was Dh2.85 per liter last month.
For example, if you drive a sedan, it will cost Dh20 more to fill a full tank than last month. If you fill up your vehicle tank once a week, you will have to pay Dh80 more than what you paid in October.
November petrol prices are much cheaper than the global average of Dh4.74 (based on updated data on global Petrolprices.com on 24 October).
In the UAE, November prices are the cheapest they have been in the six months of 2022 so far. And these prices are almost 30 percent cheaper than the peak prices this year. Prices in July are: Dhs 4.63 per liter for Super 98.

Retail fuel prices in the UAE fell to an eight-month low in October.
Petrol prices crossed Dh4 for the first time in June. In July, in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Super 98 was priced at Dhs 4.63 per litre. Prices then reached an all-time high.
Fuel prices in the UAE have been linked to international crude oil prices since August 2015. The government said the move would help in the study and understanding of fuel consumption.
Prices are revised by the Ministry of Energy in the last week of every month. It is worth noting that retailers change new rates every month.
