A criminal case was opened against the deputy minister for accepting a bribe on an especially large scale (part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), against an entrepreneur – for giving a bribe (part 5 of article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). They face 8 to 15 years in prison. Whether the detainees admitted their guilt is still unknown. Investigators released a video recording of the arrest of the suspects. On the question of the operative, on the fact of what you were detained, the official replies: “On the fact of taking the money.” After interrogation, the suspects were sent to a temporary detention center. It is expected that on Tuesday in the Central District Court of Novosibirsk he will choose a preventive measure.
