This evening (Wednesday) the Naviot Tel-Aviv night race was launched, at the initiative of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality, in which over 20 thousand runners and runners participate. The route of the great night race in Israel, which has become a tradition among its participants, residents and visitors of the city and the visitors watching it, passed through the main sites of the city, in the light of a spectacular tunnel of lights, a digital cheering stand and alongside various light displays throughout the city. Music stages were set up along the route to help keep the pace.
Mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Ron Huldai: “I congratulate all the runners on a great race that reminded us all that the city of Tel Aviv-Jaffa is a city with a sporting spirit and encourages a healthy lifestyle. The night race is the opening shot for the Tel Aviv Marathon, which has become an integral part of the Tel Aviv tradition and will be held this February.”

The length of the race is 10 km and it is divided into five sections in order to allow for a large number of runners. The race passed through the main streets and central sites of the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo, including: Ibn Gvirol, Sderot Rokah, Rabin Square, Gesher Rokah, Gani Yehoshua Park etc. The start and finish gates of the race were located on Sderot Rokah, between Yehoshua Gardens and the fair center.

In the complex there is a huge happening that includes activity complexes of the sponsors and an active expo of the best exhibitors. At the end of the race, a party will be held in front of the giant stage that will be located in Yehoshua Gardens Park.
In addition to runners from all over the country, hundreds of guests from all over the world participate. Among others, runners and runners from Uruguay, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, France, Japan, Philippines, Cyprus, Germany, Colombia and Russia participate.
