AMKE Kalliergon presents a new action entitled “Passages in Ioannina”, within the framework of the Pamvotis Lake Project.

These are theatrical routes through the alleys of the Castle combined with narrative fiction on the legends and history of Ioannina, based on original texts by Christina Tzialla, who, together with the philologist Elli Papadopoulou, who has undertaken the editing of the texts, will have the role of narrator – animator.
The action aims to revitalize and preserve intangible cultural heritage, as well as create a new heritage for future generations, while encouraging participants/visitors to visit the city’s museums and monuments, where everyone can learn in detail and extensively about the history of the city of Ioannina.
The action officially starts on Saturday, March 23 and will be repeated regularly every Saturday and Sunday, and exceptionally, weekdays (after consultation) for groups and schools.
Christina Gialla’s texts explore the spectrum of myths and legends of the region with new myths, creating a new “reality”. Most of them belong to her forthcoming novel titled “ooo” and subtitled “Trophies ApoTrophies”. The first presentation of the book will take place during the 2nd Pamvotida Festival, at the end of June.
Participation in the event costs 12 euros, for pupils, students and the unemployed 8 euros, for clubs and other groups (over 8 people) 10 euros and for schools and KAPI 6 euros. Reservations are required by calling 6909085939. The tour lasts 90 minutes (approximately) and is not open to the general public. Minors can watch, only if accompanied by a guardian.
