With the arrival of autumn, cases of bronchiolitis are increasing in France. Although this epidemic is usual and predictable, the influx of sick children saturates the pediatric hospitals which were already under capacity. 4,000 pediatric caregivers then sent an open letter to Emmanuel Macron to deplore these working conditions. The government responded to this call for help by launching an “immediate action plan” including the local activation of “white plans”.
