Police alert across Tamil Nadu – Dinamani

As the offices and houses of Hindu organizations and BJP leaders are continuously attacked, the police have been alerted across Tamil Nadu.

Last Thursday, National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Enforcement Directorate officials raided the houses and offices of Popular Front of India administrators in 93 places in 15 states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka for helping terrorist organizations. At the end of the raid, many administrators of the organization were arrested. 11 people were arrested in Tamil Nadu alone.

The organization expressed strong opposition to this action of the NIA and Enforcement Department. In this case, petrol bombs were thrown at the houses and offices of BJP and RSS leaders in various places including Coimbatore.

In response to this, the police have been alerted across Tamil Nadu. The surveillance of the police department has been increased mainly in places of worship, markets, railway stations and bus stations.

Similarly, the police department is actively patrolling important government offices and areas where important personalities live. Security has been increased at the offices and houses of administrators of BJP and Hindu organizations across the state. Vehicle checks have been ordered on all major roads at night.

The police officials said that this security will continue till the situation stabilizes.
