Private M.Com., party objection in drinking water distribution Dinamalar

by time news

An objection letter has been given on behalf of the Marxist party saying that private parties should not be allowed in the distribution of drinking water. The party’s Salem North Municipal Committee Secretary Praveen Kumar presented a petition at the Salem Municipal Corporation office yesterday:
It seems that they have decided to introduce a new project in collaboration with a private company to supply regular drinking water to the people of the city. If you distribute it through a private company and convert it into a commodity, the water bill and deposit amount will increase many times. The common pipe will be removed. Poor people will not have access to drinking water.
In response to this, proper storage of rainwater, regularization of drinking water distribution and prevention of drinking water theft can provide consistent drinking water to all. Therefore, we object that private companies should not be used in drinking water distribution.
