New Detailed Plan Proposed for Public Land in Eskilstuna

Eskilstuna municipality has unveiled a new detailed plan proposal for public land along Gredbyvägen, Langsgatan, and Stenmansgatan, extending from Gredby 1:1 to Väduren 23. The primary objective of this plan is to transfer parking spaces from Väduren 23 to another property.

Furthermore, the proposed plan aims to relocate the sidewalk along Gredbyvägen, adjacent to Väduren 23, to ensure convenient access to charging posts and bicycle parking areas reserved for the Energy Agency’s staff and visitors working within the Väduren 23 block.

According to the municipality’s assessment, the implementation of this detailed plan is not expected to have a significant environmental impact. The plan proposal aligns with the master plan and seeks to optimize land usage and transportation infrastructure within the designated area.

Now, during the review period starting from October 16 and concluding on November 5, 2023, the planning proposal and associated documents are available for public viewing at the foyer of Stadsutvecklingswebbeni Värjan, located at Alva Myrdals gata 5. The visiting hours are from Monday to Friday, 07.30 am to 4.00 pm.

The municipality strongly encourages residents and stakeholders to provide their input and feedback on the proposed plan. Comments can be submitted until the specified deadline of dd mm yyyy. They can be sent via email to sbf-plan@eskilstuna.se or through mail to Eskilstuna municipality, City Planning Administration, Planning Unit, 631 86 Eskilstuna. It is important to include the following information when submitting comments: Detailed plan for Gredby 1:1 and Väduren 23, Diary number SBN/2022:693, full name, street address or property designation.

It is crucial to note that failure to submit comments within the specified timeframe may result in the loss of the right to appeal the decision once the plan is adopted. However, it is not necessary to resubmit written views provided during the consultation period.
