Bengaluru: KL Rahul said that Rahul Dravid is his childhood hero and his favorite star. The actor disclosed this in an interview given to ‘Vogue India’ along with his wife and Bollywood star Athiya Shetty after marriage.
Rahul revealed this in a question on ‘Relationship Quiz’. Rahul asks Athiya to name her all-time favorite actor. However, he could not pretend to answer.
Then Rahul explained the question further. When asked to mention the name of the person whom he had met and admired in his childhood, he replied that he had forgotten. Then, Rahul Dravid’s name was revealed.
However, when asked the year of his international cricket debut, Athiya gave a definite answer. She said it was in 2014 and she made her Test debut. Athiya also remembered one of Rahul’s records in IPL perfectly. The 14-ball half-century was also the shortest half-century in the IPL. In the interview, Athiya’s maiden picture and the first school she attended and all the subjects and preferences are also asked. Rahul’s answer to everything was correct.
Both of them also revealed about the love between the two. Rahul’s revelation was that he was the one who said love for the first time.
Last January 23, Athiya, who is also the daughter of Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty, and Rahul got married. Only close relatives and friends attended the wedding ceremony. The wedding was held at Sunil Shetty’s residence in Kandla.
